We are meeting at the ceremonial opening of the construction that will be carried out by the company BUDIMEX. Is this your first major contract in the Czech Republic and do you consider it a breakthrough?
Actually, it's the second one, because we have the first contract in Kutřín but this one is bigger and, therefore, very important for us, as you said. We could say that this is one of the main contracts in the Czech Republic for us.
What other constructions is Budimex interested in within the Czech Republic, and into which tenders do you plan to enter?
Budimex is specialized in infrastructure projects, such as roads, highways, rail, and hydro-technical infrastructure, of course. So we plan to be engaged in projects, infrastructure tenders, and railways.

From the perspective of infrastructure, Poland is often considered a model for the Czech Republic because things are built faster and, above all, more cheaply there. What is the reason for this?
Oh, it's rather difficult to define... Actually, maybe in Poland, we were more determined to do that.
A major topic is the Czech high-speed railway lines. Does Budimex plan to get involved in its construction?
Of course, we do. We are the largest company that builds railways in Poland, so we are also interested in railway construction in the Czech Republic.
