Day 3 of TRAKO 2025 in Gdańsk has shifted the spotlight onto passengers, high-speed rail, and the research community, with debates and workshops focusing on how innovation and inclusivity are shaping the railways of tomorrow.
The third day of TRAKO 2025 brings a programme designed to look at the future of rail from several angles. While the exhibition halls remain filled with more than 600 exhibitors from 30 countries, today’s agenda focuses on passenger comfort, accessibility, and safety, alongside the strategic development of high-speed rail in Poland.

Passengers at the Core
Sessions today will once again point out a simple truth: passengers must remain at the heart of the modern railway. Panels are expected to explore how comfort, tradition and innovation can be combined in a new era of travel, while debates on accessibility will ask what it means to build a railway for everyone. Practical solutions—from better service design to safety initiatives—are on the table.
High-Speed Rail and Research Frontiers
High-speed rail once again takes centre stage, too. Presentations under the HSR Poland 2025 banner will address infrastructure challenges, cyber security and the technical demands of line systems. At the same time, research institutions and industrial partners will present results from European cooperation projects, showing how laboratory innovation can be translated into practice across the sector.
