Less than 3 months remain until the opening of the International Railway Fair Trako 2021. The Gdańsk Fair is one of the largest and most prestigious meetings in the rail sector in Europe. We are honored that the magazine Rail Target is one of the media patrons of this important event.
This meeting of representatives of railway companies will be the largest and first direct meeting in a long time. Due to the prevailing pandemic situation, these meetings could only take place in a limited online mode.
It was not certain for very long how the fair would take place, because of the Covid-19. As part of the gradual improvement of the epidemic situation and the reduction of restrictions, the Polish Government opened the trade fair segment in the first half of June.
The 14th international railway fair will take place from 21 to 24 September 2021.
Gdańsk Amberexpo offers about 30,000 square meters of exhibition space and about 1,000 meters of tracks for the exhibition of rolling stock, machinery and trackside equipment.
The event is accompanied by an extensive program that includes debates, numerous seminars, corporate presentations and TRAKO Education and Career Day.
The fair happens every two years. About 700 exhibitors from 30 countries participated at the last fair in Gdańsk region in 2019.
