How do you evaluate the content of today's VPI symposium?
It was a very interesting symposium with a political part in the morning, and in the afternoon, it was about Digital Automatic Coupling. It's very interesting and extremely important for the sector.

Absolutely, this is the European maintenance guide which is run by the VERS company and, of course, managed by VPI, but VERS is actually doing the European maintenance guide, and this is, of course, the basis of our business.

It's the new year. Could you briefly retrospect what 2022 was like for the rail sector and what ERMEWA's plans for 2023 are?
2022 was a really challenging year, of course, with the war in Ukraine and the impact on the rail industry, with the problems in, for example, wheelsets, the increasing prices for the construction of new rail cars and many other problems. I think, in the end, after hard work, most of the companies in the sector, and ERMEWA as well, could still manage quite well. I hope, 2023 will not have so many unexpected impacts, and we can start working on the shift to rail and the DAC.
