Do you think that the DAC is the future for Europe?
Yes, the DAC will be very important for the future of rail freight in Europe because it's about capacity. It will enable us to have much more traffic on our network. And that is so important because the lack of capacity is, at the moment, the most restrictive factor for rail freight.

What were the most important arguments in the discussion of the DAC?
The discussion is, firstly, about capacity. Secondly, about enabling the rail freight industry to be much more competitive and quicker. The third one is that, at the moment, the work with coupling is a very heavy one for the workers, and with Digital Automatic Coupling, it will be done automatically.

Our last question is about financing since it might become a problem for smaller carriers. What's your opinion on it?
I think, of course, if you want to finance such a big program for estimated 500,000 wagons in Europe, then we need funding from the European Commission, we need it from the member states and, of course, every company must take their part in this technology revolution.
