One of the most striking and well-attended stands at Transport Logistic 2025 in Munich belonged to Railtrans International, a.s. (RTI). The RAILTARGET editorial team was present on site to witness the company’s confident and ambitious showcase—a rare sight in a European rail freight market currently grappling with widespread challenges.
Amid the broader downturn across the sector, RTI presented itself as a company unafraid of adversity, actively seeking new business opportunities and growth in a tense economic environment. At the fair, the company proudly revealed that its fleet now exceeds 3,400 wagons, with 500 new additions delivered in 2024 alone. The company continues to expand its rolling stock to meet demand from key partners in the petrochemical, ethanol, and biofuel industries across Europe.
RTI also transports a broad mix of commodities, including coal, fertilisers, timber, and grain, while maintaining a strong presence in automotive and container logistics. The latter reflects the company’s growing stake in the intermodal transport sector, underscoring its adaptability in a transforming market.

Leadership and Strategy on Display: Meet RTI’s Management
The RTI booth was well-represented by the company’s top executives. Among them was Michal Gajdoš, the newly appointed Managing Director for Germany and Austria, formerly Chairman of the Board at IDS Cargo. Gajdoš continues the strategic trajectory initiated by Daniel Hadházy, who has now taken on the role of Commercial Director for Germany and Austria.

Founded in Bratislava in 2011, RTI used its presence at the Munich fair not only to demonstrate operational successes but also to showcase its commitment to quality, environmental responsibility, and safety.
International Certifications Reinforce RTI’s Commitment
In addition to its logistics portfolio, RTI displayed a range of internationally recognised certifications, including ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety), and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). These accreditations underline RTI’s ambition to meet the highest standards in both service and operations.
