Rail Business Days 2026 Opens in Ostrava with Focus on High-Speed Rail, Battery Trains and Digitalisation

High-speed rail, battery-powered trains, cybersecurity and railway digitalisation are among the key themes as Rail Business Days 2026 opens in Ostrava. The three-day exhibition brings together railway manufacturers, operators, infrastructure managers and policymakers from across Europe to discuss the future of rail transport and showcase the latest industry innovations.

Ostrava has once again become a meeting point for the railway sector as the latest edition of Rail Business Days officially opened on 9 June. The event is expected to attract industry professionals, technology suppliers and public-sector representatives, offering a combination of conference sessions, vehicle presentations and networking opportunities.

The exhibition runs from 9–11 June 2026 at the Trojhalí Karolina complex in Ostrava, including Halls 1 and 2 as well as adjacent outdoor exhibition areas. Visitors can explore both indoor and outdoor displays, including a dedicated rolling stock exhibition stretching across 825 metres of track.

The exhibition grounds are open daily from 09:00 to 18:00, while the final day, 11 June, will run until 15:00. Altogether, exhibitors occupy approximately 5,400 m² of indoor space and 900 m² of outdoor exhibition areas, showcasing technologies and solutions covering virtually every segment of the railway industry.
