In the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, Ukraine, guerrillas blew up a railway line used by the occupiers to bring equipment and export Ukrainian grain.

"In the evening of January 6, near Shchastya, the railway line Luhansk - Lantrativka village was destroyed with the help of an improvised explosive device," said Serhiy Haidai, the head of Luhansk regional military administration.

He stated that Russians previously used this railway line to transport military equipment, personnel and munitions. Ukrainian grain is exported back to Russia. In particular, according to the occupiers' media, over 1000 tons of grain were stolen from the Starobilsk elevator alone.

It is reported that the occupiers explain the delay of suburban trains on this route by "planned works".
