Apparently, Mr Šimáček, a modeller and train enthusiast, was given the railway when it was 80 years old and in disrepair, and he repaired the whole thing. All the trains on the railway run according to a set timetable, which Mr Šimáček put together by a computer.
In his collection, there are trains, all of which make original sounds and light up. A minor gem in his model railway collection is ten steam locomotives that produce real steam thanks to a special smoke distillate.
What makes Mr Šimáček's railway extra special is that different stories take place on it, not metaphorically.
In fact, the railway is surrounded by various moving figures and backdrops that represent, for example, parodies from several films or historical events.
