Legendary Slovenská Strela on Display at RAIL BUSINESS DAYS in Ostrava

Rail enthusiasts and history buffs are in for a treat at this year's Rail Business Days fair in Ostrava.

In cooperation with the companies DAKO-CZ and Tatra Trucks from the CSG Mobility division, the organizers of this year's Rail Business Days fair at the Troja Ostrava have prepared an opportunity for visitors to see the legendary four-axle motor car M 290002 Slovenská Strela (Slovak Arrow), which was manufactured in two pieces in Kopřivnice Tatra for the Czechoslovak State Railways in 1936.

This technical marvel for its time was deployed on the Bratislava - Brno - Prague line and was able to transport passengers at a maximum speed of 130 km/h from Bratislava to Prague in an impressive 4 hours and 18 minutes. In 2021, the carriage underwent a complete reconstruction.
