The next part of the series of articles on InnoTrans 2022 (20.-23.9.2022) is here! After introducing the whole event, interesting events, and foreign exhibitors, in today's one, we will focus on exhibitors from the Czech railway scene. Who will be represented at this year's fair? More in the article!

One of the most important events for the transport sector will start after this weekend! We will inform you about InnoTrans 2022 (20.-23.9.2022) in a series of articles dedicated to this event. The first one provided background information on the fair, and then we covered the fascinating events. The previous article introduced the most interesting foreign exhibitors, so in today's one, we will focus on Czech exhibitors.

This year's edition of InnoTrans will be attended by over 70 Czech companies from the railway industry to show what is happening and coming up in this sector in our country. It can be expected that they will have a large audience, as the last InnoTrans was attended by 150,000 visitors from almost 150 countries. If we look at it from the angle of how many people are employed, directly and indirectly, by our rail industry, it is a full third of the visitors of the last InnoTrans! In addition, these companies account for up to 56% of their turnover in exports, so it is positive that they can make themselves visible in this way and establish potential business relationships with other foreign partners.

There will be a lot to see. For example, AŽD Praha will show you the TrafficSWing DOZ-1 remote control dispatcher workstation with the TrafficSWing GTN telematic superstructure and the ASVC advanced system for automatic train path construction for the railway line Prague Vršovice - Uhříněves. You will be able to see for yourself how the remote train control works and is carried out. We are approaching the time of autonomous trains!

Another major Czech company presenting itself at InnoTrans is BONATRANS GROUP. You will see, for example, the BONA320 voltage-optimized wheel for freight wagons with BONASILENCE®R+ shock absorber or the wheel with BONASILENCE®P shock absorber for the Prague metro. Wheels also include brakes, and DAKO will show you these with its demonstrations of pneumatic and hydraulic braking systems for rail vehicles, including mechatronic control components. The Škoda Group will then show you a new tram for the tri-cities of Mannheim, Ludwigshafen, and Heidelberg. And if you want to see what it's like inside the Velim test center of the Railway Research Institute, visit their stand.

And the Czech companies won't just be exhibiting, they'll also be doing a few events. We already wrote about the presentation of the Škoda Group and their ForCity Smart T36 tram in a previous article. AŽD Praha will also have its event at its stand - AŽD Forum. Topics such as ERTMS, autonomous railways, and other new technologies will be discussed here (21.9. and 22.9. 14:00). AŽD Praha will also take part in the UNIFE panel discussion on ERTMS: the foundation of future global operation automation on Wednesday (21.9. 14:00) and the Deputy Director for Research and Development Antonín Diviš will speak on behalf of the company.

These are not all Czech companies others that will be attending InnoTrans 2022 include WALBO GROUP and its subsidiaries WALBO RAILWAY and WALBO WAGONS, OLTIS Group, Komerční Železniční Výzkum, Elektrizace Železnic Praha, DT-Výhybkárna a strojírna, BORCAD, and many others.
