Gdańsk welcomes participants for the second day of the TRAKO International Railway Fair at AMBEREXPO. Recognized as Europe's second-largest railway event, TRAKO's 15th edition features over 600 exhibitors, with an anticipated attendance of 25,000 delegates from more than 40 countries.

The event's diverse lineup includes an outdoor exhibition with 51 exhibitors presenting cutting-edge rolling stock. The agenda, curated by the TRAKO Programme Council, spans across various industry segments such as infrastructure, metropolitan public transport, and freight, with nearly 100 debates, seminars, and conferences scheduled over the next few days.

The inaugural day set the tone with keynotes from prominent figures. Andrej Adamczyk, the Polish Minister of Transport, emphasized the significant progress of the Polish railways, detailing its infrastructural milestones, including the construction of over 7,400 km of new tracks and the introduction of innovations like hydro-locomotives. Other notable speakers, Carlo Borghini and Huw Merriman, touched upon the strategic importance of railways in Europe and the UK, respectively. Discussions also addressed pressing global issues, such as the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic and the geopolitical concerns surrounding Russia's war in Ukraine.

In addition to the main event, RAILTARGET, an official media partner, has launched its interview studio on the TRAKO premises. Our readers can anticipate insightful discussions with leading industry representatives as we are ensuring that they get a comprehensive view of the industry's current landscape and future prospects.

Join us, share in our excitement, and rendezvous at TRAKO 2023. We at RAILTARGET look forward to welcoming you!
