The event, part of Poland’s EU Council Presidency agenda, was officially sponsored by Polish MEP Dariusz Joński. In his speech, Joński highlighted the critical need for sustainable, long-term rail financing, emphasizing the EUR 500 billion required to complete the core TEN-T network by 2030. He also stressed the importance of green rail transport, decarbonization, and clean logistics development.
