The 'Connecting Europe Days' event started yesterday, April 2, 2024, in Brussels, being a gathering spot for more than 2,500 participants from all EU Member States and neighboring third countries, including government officials, financial institutions, industry leaders, and transport experts, alongside the European Commission and aiming to deliberate on achieving a decarbonized, seamless, and digital transport and mobility network within Europe.
According to the European Commission, this year's 'Connecting Europe Days' is focusing on several topics, amongst which are:
- the launch of the nine new ‘European Transport Corridors’ of the trans-European transport network (TEN-T) extending to neighboring third countries, including Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova, and the Western Balkan partners
