ÖBB announces the first Postbus Career day in Tyrol breaking new ground in its search for new bus drivers on September 6. It offers anyone interested the opportunity to take the wheel of a bus and find out about the exciting job of the bus driver. It also should appeal to newcomers and those changing to a new job, as well as to career changers.

Postbus Career Day on September 6, 2022

All interested persons, of course also those who do not yet have a driving licence class "D", are cordially invited to inform themselves about the exciting job of "bus driver" at the Postbus Verkehrsleitung Innsbruck, Rossaugasse 10, 6020 Innsbruck, on September 6, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Those interested in a job as a seasonal bus driver, e.g. ski bus driver in one of the numerous Tyrolean winter sports regions such as Kitzbühel or the Arlberg region, are also welcome. In addition to a secure and attractive job, Postbus offers additional benefits such as free uniforms, further training and health promotion measures. The Postbus offer for those interested in becoming a bus driver is as follows

  • Training loan for the acquisition of a class "D" driving licence (bus driver's licence). The loan does not have to be repaid after four years of employment as a bus driver with Postbus
  • Employment (30 hours per week) immediately from the start of the driver's licence training for the training period
  • Permanent employment with Postbus after obtaining the driving licence class "D"
  • Practical training and further training at the Postbus.
