State-owned railway company in Ukraine Ukrzaliznytsia announced that in the 11 months of this year received 227.3 million UAH of net profit. According to CEO Ukrzaliznytsia Alexander Kamyshin, the company is becoming more efficient and has all the prospects for a profitable end of 2021.

By comparison, in the 11 months of last year Ukrzaliznytsia had losses of about 12 billion UAH "Such a difference in financial results for the 11 months of this and last year shows the company's commitment to sustainable development, the efficiency of management decisions, and the effectiveness of each employee," said Chief Ukrzaliznytsia.

In 11 months in 2021, EBITDA is 12.6 billion UAH, which is 3.9 billion UAH more than in the same period last year. At the same time, the net revenue from the operation of the state carrier increased by 12.8% to 77.4 billion UAH.

As usual, the largest share of revenues in the structure of the group's revenues consists of revenues from freight transport, for January-November 2021 amounted to 64.4 billion UAH.
