According to the Transport Logistics Center of Ukrzaliznytsia, the national carrier continues to search for alternative logistics routes for the delivery of goods to and from Ukraine and, in this context, draws the attention of businesses to the possibility of using the services of the Montenegrin port of Bar.

"The total port capacity is about 5 million tons per year. On average, about 50% of the capacity is used. Port Bar has the following specialized terminals: dry bulk terminal, liquid cargo terminal, RO-RO and general cargo/container terminal," states the branch of the Transport Logistics Center of Ukrzaliznytsia.

The application states that the port of Bar cooperates with forwarding companies from Serbia. In particular, according to the information of the representative of the Serbian forwarding company Panšped, the company is ready to facilitate the establishment of a logistics route for the transportation of a wide range of products from Ukraine to the port. Panšped also can use free carriages of the Serbian Railways, if necessary.

According to the Transport Logistics Center of Ukrzaliznytsia, "the Montenegrin side has expressed interest in establishing cooperation with Ukraine regarding using the port's capabilities for transhipment and transportation of goods."
