Ten Rail d.o.o.: First Slovenian RU with single safety certificate issued by ERA, for more than one country

Ten Rail d.o.o. is a Slovenian railway undertaking founded on the 20th of February 2018, by the Austrian companies Salzburger Eisenbahn Transport Logistik GmbH (SETG) and Rail & Sea. In first years, the company obtained the needed license and safety certificate for Slovenia but from May 2021 they are the first Slovenian railway undertaking that managed to obtain a new single safety certificate (SSC), issued by European Railway Agency (ERA), for the countries Slovenia, Austria and Croatia. SSC is valid until May 2026.

The company is specialized in freight train transportation where they now mainly operate with tank car trains from Spielfeld to Dobova and container trains from Spielfeld or Jesenice to Koper. Company also has the needed experience and competence for transportation of dangerous goods and extraordinary transports.

Ten Rail d.o.o. has it’s own training center for locomotive drivers in Slovenia. They also carry out annual training for other railway undertakings in Slovenia.
