Green Mobility Partners, a Vienna-based new player in the European full-service locomotive leasing business, has ordered up to 50 locomotives with Siemens Mobility. The contract includes the agreed purchase of eight Vectron MS locomotives and support in the service area.

The Vectron locomotives have a maximum power of up to 6.4 MW and a top speed of up to 200 km/h. They are the ideal vehicles to offer cost-effective and efficient mobility on sustainable railways in the Central and Eastern European region. The production of the new locomotives takes place at the Siemens Mobility plant in Munich-Allach, with the chassis coming from the global competence center in Graz.
