RAILPOOL has obtained the homologation of the AC3 locomotive for ETCS Baseline 3 in Sweden

The RAILPOOL AC3 locomotive in Sweden has successfully obtained homologation for ETCS Baseline 3. This major milestone was achieved in close cooperation with Alstom DIS Sweden.

Last week RAILPOOL TRAXX AC3locomotive in Sweden has obtained homologation for ETCS Baseline 3 and came right on time for the launch of ETCS BL3 on the Swedish Botniabanan line, where RAILPOOL locomotives are mainly used for reliably transporting timber for the pulp and paper industry.

RAILPOOL, being the homologation holder, are also looking ahead to the upcoming launch of ETCS BL3 in Norway in 2023 which  entire Nordic AC3 Last Mile fleet will be ready and upgraded for.
