In response to the growing interest in intermodal transport, the company from the PKP CARGO - PKP CARGO CONNECT group decided to increase the frequency of services on the Małaszewicze - Warsaw route to four trains per week. The train is expected to cross the route between the terminal in Małaszewicz and Warsaw in 5 hours.

„From the beginning, we were sure that the start of the Małaszewicz-Warsaw connection was a very good decision, as it is one of the most full railway routes in Poland. Hundreds of containers are transported daily along this route, as Małaszewicze is the gateway to the EU for cargo transported from China along the New Silk Road, as well as for transport from EU countries to the PRC,“ says Czesław Warsewicz, CEO of PKP CARGO S.A. „For the PKP CARGO Group, serving connections with Małaszewicz is one of the priority directions as customers ship more and more cargo to the station. We can therefore expect that soon the frequency of trains on the Warsaw-Małaszewicz route will increase“ - adds CEO Warsewicz.

Moreover, PKP CARGO CONNECT currently supports domestic connections in the intermodal rail transport sector: Gdańsk - Sławków, Gdańsk - Kąty Wrocławskie, Małaszewicze - Gliwice, Małaszewicze - Kąty Wrocławskie and also foreign ally Gliwice - Piacenza.
