President Gitanas Nausseda, the Minister of Transport and Communications Marius Skuodis, and representatives of the Lithuanian Armed Forces and Lithuanian Railways (LTG) visited the Palemonas loading area over the weekend to watch and see the unloading of American military equipment.
The equipment was transported most of the way to the loading area near Kaunas Intermodal Terminal by Rail Baltica railroad, but for the last 500 meters, it was transported on a new European standard access road.
