230 Ukrainian railway workers have already died at the hands of Russian soldiers. Another 383 were injured. Oleksandr Kamyshin, the head of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia, informed about this while addressing the chairman of the board of Russian Railways.

The head of Ukrzaliznytsia published an appeal to the chairman of the board of the Russian Railways, Oleg Belozyorov, on his Telegram channel. The chairman of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia called on the Russian Railways' workers not to participate in the war against Ukraine.

"I believe that the honour of the railroad profession should come before the desire to honour your president by carrying out a knowingly criminal order. I ask you to think about the fate of your employees forced to go to war. About the coffins and funerals that will go to the families of Russian Railways' employees. About families that will be left without breadwinners", Oleksandr Kamyshin, head of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia.
