A train collision on a bridge in Prague's Libeň district, Czech Republic, brought transportation to a standstill and left nearly twenty people injured. Evacuation efforts were carried out using fire department platforms, while emergency services activated a trauma response plan. Investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the accident.
The collision occurred on Wednesday morning on a bridge over Čuprova Street in Prague. The crash caused minor injuries to about twenty people. Emergency responders quickly implemented a trauma plan, with eight ambulances, two doctors, and an inspector deployed to the scene. Due to the difficult access, evacuation was carried out using fire department platforms and ladders.

The injured passengers, who primarily suffered head and limb injuries, were taken to the hospital. Those uninjured were transferred to an evacuation train. The Railway Inspectorate, along with police and investigators, are currently investigating the cause of the collision. Preliminary reports suggest that one of the trains ran a red signal and rear-ended another train.
Partial service on the track has been restored, but emergency response efforts at the scene continue.
