The contract between these two freight companies from Antwerp to Scotland has been extended for another two years. Both companies praise the cooperation.
The companies concluded the contract for 30 trains per year. Transport is therefore carried out two to three times a month. Kaolin clay, which is used in Scotland to bleach paper, is transported on these trains. There are 20 tank-cars in one train, which carry load of 1200 tons per train.
This is the longest running service underneath the English Channel for GB Railfreight.
