Guerrillas blew up a train carrying oil products and timber on a section of the single-track railway between the stations of Unecha and Rassukha in Russia.

As a result of the train bombing, the railway connection between Russian settlements and the Belarusian city of Gomel was disrupted. The locomotive belonged to the Belarusian railways.

According to the Telegram channel 'Baza', the railway line was allegedly blown up by a man dressed in black. He was about 40 years old and about 170 centimetres tall. He had a black backpack and was travelling by bicycle.

According to the channel, an eyewitness provided these descriptions to the police. The accidental witness of the explosion was allegedly talking on the phone and, having heard the explosion on the railway, rushed to help. At that moment, a man on a bicycle, dressed in all black and carrying a backpack, appeared at the explosion site.

"When asked how he got there, the man said he wanted to take a shortcut and left. At the moment, the 'Interception' plan has been announced in the Unetsky district, where the explosion occurred," the statement said.
