BUDAMAR GROUP's fleet will be upgraded this year with ten new SIEMENS Vectron MS locomotives from the leasing company Rolling Stock Lease. Railcolor Design has taken charge of their appearance, and we have a lot to look forward to.
The subject of the lease itself will be ten brand new SIEMENS Vectron MS locomotives. These will be leased to BUDAMAR GROUP by the leasing company Rolling Stock Lease. The company also leases Vectrons in a similar way to other large carriers. In this case, there are two variants of Vectrons - 8 units of A17 and two units of A35. You will soon be able to see the first locomotives on the railway.

But the news doesn't end there! BUDAMAR GROUP has commissioned Railcolor Design to work on the design of the new locomotives. And there is a lot to look forward to because you will see the Budamar Vectrons in several designs. It was finally decided that each of the five locomotives would have its own design. It will definitely please many a railfan! The first five will hop on the track with the motto 'We are the Architects of Logistics'. As for the visual design, the main elements will be Slovakian bridges and viaducts. These are not only part of the railway as such but also a symbol of connection, of interconnection.
In the context of the war in Ukraine and the Covid-19 pandemic, such symbolism is really needed to reconnect a divided world. And the railway can be that cementer. BUDAMAR GROUP has thus hit the nail on the head with this symbolism in these difficult times. The cooperation with Railcolor Design was a good choice, and we will see what interesting design they will come up with for the second five.
