Another metro train for Warsaw, Poland, has set off from the Škoda plant in Plzeň. Its transport on the Czech territory is provided by the carrier ČD Cargo, and on the Polish territory, it will be taken over by the subsidiary ČD Cargo Poland.
The next six-car metro train left the gates of the ŠKODA plant in Plzeň on Sunday, 14 August 2022, and travelled with ČD Cargo via Prague, Havlíčkův Brod, Brno, Přerov and Bohumín to the Polish capital Warsaw. The first metro train was transported by ČD Cargo on 14 February 2022 from Plzeň for testing at the ŽZO in Velim. The second set headed to Poland on 23 April 2022, specifically to Warszawa-Okęcie station.

The transport itself was preceded by a series of negotiations, not only commercial but also technical. The maximum permitted speed was set at 60 km/h on the broad gauge line and 40 km/h when passing through stations. It was also necessary to provide connecting carriages equipped with a conventional drawbar and ramming gear on one head of the carriage and a metro coupling on the opposite head of the carriage. Additional "braking" cars complete the set.
