GATX Rail Europe continues forward with growing its intermodal freight fleet for all its customers. Recently the company expanded on its past collaborations with SETG — a valued customer that specializes in the logistics of European rail freight transport and agricultural products, involving wood, chemicals, vehicles, paper/pulp, and steel. GATX Rail Europe sent a team to a Turkish manufacturer’s site to inspect and lead a quality check on our newly built, 60’ intermodal freight Sgns – GATX type 9460. It was also ensured that all preparations were complete for the railcars' direct dispatch to SETG.

To maximize efficiency and ensure outstanding results, the GATX Rail Europe team provided support in the building process and contributed to the car’s optimization. They made certain that every step along the way went smoothly.

Following the successful collaboration, Johannes Friess, Business Unit Manager Freight, expressed his contentment with the results. “I am pleased to report that we are in step with our freight car growth targets and are able to keep our intermodal fleet young, modern, and state-of-the-art,” he said. “With every chance possible, our team is ready to pitch in and optimize our railcars to best suit our customers’ needs.”
