GATX Rail Europe, a leading, full-service railcar lessor, has announced long-term cooperation with logistics partner Wedler Franz Logistik GmbH & Co. KG (WFL), which offers reliable, innovative services in transport, construction logistics, and locomotive services.
WFL is based in Postdam, Germany, and has an impressive track record in the rail industry. The logistics company will be responsible for the construction materials transportation, construction site services, and logistics itself.
"WFL thanks GATX Rail Europe for the excellent customer service. We are very happy to partner with GATX for the railway infrastructure development in eastern Germany," said Mr. Gocht, Area Manager at WFL.
GATX Key Account Manager Julian Madsen also shared that the GATX Rail Europe team "is delighted with the new WFL - GATX business relationship and would like to thank everyone involved for their trust. The long-term contract commitment allows us to grow together with our customers and further design projects in the coming years. We will continue to invest in our fleet's future expansions."
Founded in 2004, WFL provides freight transportation, rail construction logistics, and special travel and shift train business. The company also offers staffing services. WFL leases several Rens cars. They will be used by DB Netz Wagenpool 22 NL Ost, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn, to maintain and build new railroad tracks in the eastern region of Germany. DB Netz is one of the largest managers of rail infrastructure worldwide.
