“The newly acquired wagons, which are equipped with tarpaulin and 7-coil cradles, are a great addition to our growing fleet of Steel Coil Flatcars,” said Clemens Aschl, Commercial Development Manager at GATX Rail Europe, who is responsible for secondary market fleet acquisitions. “Thanks to their special design, the Shimmnss wagons are ideal for the transportation of smaller steel and aluminium coil types or wire rolls. With this latest addition, our fleet of Steel Coil Flatcars will be able to fully accommodate customers’ various coil transportation needs.”
