DB focuses on its in-house growth, and that is why the company proudly announced on their LinkedIn profile that they won three awards at the annual Excellence Awards. The three categories, out of the initial 30 categories in which DB beat their competition, were: recruiting campaign, employer branding, diversity & inclusion management
DB's recruiting & awareness campaigns for the Weltflüchtlingstag aimed to enable even more refugees to start and raise internal awareness of the issue - for the more diverse Deutsche Bahn. Deutsche Bahn's recruiting team took International Women's Day on March 8, 2021, as an opportunity for an entire DB World Women's Month. The award committee has positioned DB as an attractive employer with innovative campaigns. The month was a complete recruiting success, with 20% more candidates hired. The data got compared with the previous month. DB is also proudly becoming more feminist.
DB has positioned itself as an attractive employer for schoolchildren and won over the highly sought-after target group within its employer branding. With the digital campaign idea, DB showed understanding of young people's concerns about the future, showed solidarity with them, and showed them a concrete way out of the jungle of the upcoming days.
The diversity & inclusion management brought a one-week recruiting and awareness campaign for World Refugee Day. DB would like to give even more refugees a qualified entry and raise awareness internally for the topic - for an even more diverse Deutsche Bahn.
