The company's goods trains bring an average of 30,000 tonnes of coal every day from the North Sea seaports to around 15 major power plant sites in Germany. The supply of power plants continues according to the customers' needs. DB Cargo also reactivated over 1,000 coal transport wagons, which had been sidelined, and used "energy corridors" to some extent to travel primarily through the rail network.
