It was previously reported that the Lithuanian railway company LTG Cargo had stopped the transit of sanctioned cargo between the Kaliningrad region and the territory of Russia since June 18. The governor of the Kaliningrad region, Anton Alikhanov, said that according to his preliminary estimates, this is from 40 to 50% of goods transported between the Kaliningrad region and other regions of the Russian Federation.
In particular, construction materials, cement, metals, and "several other goods important for both construction and production" fell under the ban.
