The Polish railway company PKP Linie Hutnicza Szerokotorowa (PKP LHS) specializes in rail freight transport on wide-gauge lines (with a track gauge of 1520 mm) on its social networks boasted about its new record.
On January 8, a freight train weighing 5,883 gross and measuring 924 m in length entered the Hrubieszów LHS border station with Ukraine. The train, which arrived from Ukraine, was pulled by locomotives made by Newag type 15D / A -112 and 15D / A -113. The train consisted of 66 wagons loaded with iron ore.
