The load on the Russian Railways network for 11 months of 2022 decreased by 3.6% compared to the same period in 2021, to 1.13 billion tons. In November, the load fell by 4.1% to 103.5 million tons. The rate of decline, which dropped to 3% in October, increased slightly in November.

According to the results of 11 months, the loading of the most massive type of cargo in Russia, coal, decreased by 5.1% to 323.2 million tons. At the same time, in November, export coal transportation to ports increased by 0.6%.
The leaders of the decline in share terms in November were ferrous scrap (down - 30.8%), timber cargo (- 32.3%) and coke (- 36.4%). In November, RZD also reduced the transportation of ferrous metals by 16.4%.
