VTG Ushers in 2024 with a Bold Strategy: Introducing Kerstin Kamphaus as the Pioneering Chief People & Culture Officer

VTG GmbH Welcomes Kerstin Kamphaus as the Newly Appointed Chief People and Culture Officer (CPCO) on January 1, 2024. In a game-changing initiative, VTG places a strong emphasis on people and culture as key pillars of its growth strategy. The establishment of this new role, consolidating all strategic and operational human resources activities throughout Europe, therefore marks a significant step towards a more focused and integrated approach.

Kerstin Kamphaus joins VTG from the Maersk Group, where she initially served as CPCO for the Hamburg Süd company before assuming responsibility for the group’s strategic recruitment issues. Before moving to Maersk, she filled a variety of general HR leader positions – including a role in charge of enterprise-wide leadership development – at the Vattenfall Group from 2003 through 2020. With over 20 years of experience in HR management to her name, the economics graduate has an impressive track record in successful strategic transformation and development processes.
