The RCG and Ermewa partnership is characterised by mutual support and reliability, and the two companies have worked together for many years. For instance, the companies were able to work together seamlessly on grain transports from Ukraine last year, with Ermewa providing valuable support right from the beginning.
The companies rely mainly on four types of Ermewa wagons for southern routes, which start and end at the Zagreb HUB. There, the empty wagons are connected to form trains and are sent to Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, or the Czech Republic for loading. After the goods are unloaded in Italy, the empty trains return to the HUB in Zagreb. Ermewa will play a critical role in 2023 in helping to manage the high volume of transportation from Ukraine to Europe. Together, RCG and Ermewa will rent 115 new wagons to meet the requirements for the year.
