Ukrainian Railways, in collaboration with Ukrposhta (Ukrainian Postal Service), Omniva (Estonian Post and Logistics Company), and the Slovakian company Interport, is implementing a novel logistics method for the delivery of international shipments to Ukraine.
This new transportation system is a strategic move for Ukraine, circumventing delays caused by blockades and queues at the Polish and Slovakian borders. The scheme guarantees the companies' independence from border situations, enabling Ukrposhta to swiftly handle large volumes of orders. Unlike road transport, parcels transported by rail can cross the border in just one day.

Ukrposhta announced that Omniva will serve as the primary transit partner for parcels from global marketplaces, including Chinese stores. For the first time in over two decades, international mail will be delivered to Ukraine via rail.
