The first locomotive has already been sent to Daltransugol (in Khabarovsk's Vanina terminal). The locomotive will handle coal in the Vanina port in the Khabarovsk region, which will get transported to markets in the Asia-Pacific region. The TEM14M locomotive manufactured for Daltransugol has an additional driver's cab configuration, which is equipped with video recording systems to check "dead" points of visibility, LED lights for local lighting of the unit, and bumper lights. In addition, its specification includes services for the commissioning and maintenance of the vehicle during the warranty period.

"The locomotives are record-setters in terms of lifting capacity and are indispensable for work in port terminals. By 2022, TEM14Ms will be operating in all major cargo ports of the country: the Baltic, the Far East, and the Black Sea basins," Anton Zubikhin, the General Director of STM Trading House, said.

Another TEM14M locomotive will get delivered to IPP Ltd, which operates in the Novorossiysk seaport. The vehicle will get used to transport liquid cargo of petroleum products and UAN (urea-ammoniacal nitrate) from tanks to storage tanks at the company's export terminal. The locomotive will get handed over to the customer in the second quarter of 2022.

The TEM14M shunting locomotives, manufactured by the Ludinovo Locomotive Plant, which is part of Sinara Transport Machines, are the most potent Russian-made locomotive for these activities. The first heavy diesel locomotive, TEM14M, has been in operation in the commercial seaport of Ust-Luga since the beginning of 2021 and provides an increase in cargo turnover in one of the busiest terminals.
