Sqills is a leading provider of software as a service (SaaS) for inventory, reservation, and ticket management software. The acquisition improves Siemens' strategy to increase the availability, capacity and use of public transport. The partnership will be structured to ensure that best-in-class aspects of Sqills' approach are combined with Siemens Mobility's vast experience, resources, and global presence. This will accelerate Sqills' plans to develop the world's leading S3 Passenger platform and expand its presence outside Europe. Sqills is pleased to announce that it has signed a binding agreement, which will be acquired by Siemens Mobility, a separately managed company of Siemens AG. Siemens has been a leader in transport solutions for more than 160 years.
Siemens Mobility aims to expand its software portfolio of digital intermodal and connected mobility solutions. As such, Sqills will now become part of the global organization and portfolio of Siemens digital solutions, which includes Hacon, eos.uptrade, Bytemark and Padam Mobility.
The partnership with Siemens Mobility will allow Sqills to accelerate the development of the S3 Passenger platform and its ambitions to be the world's leading provider of inventory, reservation, and ticket management systems.
