Škoda Group is searching for 500 new employees. Recruitment of such number of new workers is essential, as Škoda Group is currently working on several orders for clients from all over Europe.
New employees are needed at the enterprise in Ostrava, especially electro mechanics, locksmiths, quality controllers and mechanics of electronic devices. According to Martin Bednarz, CEO of Škoda Vagonka, all the production plants are going through a fundamental transformation such as doubling the capacity of the assembly lines, modern paint shops or renewed machining workplace.

After these modernizations, the annual production capacity is expected to be 300 rough structures and up to 200 fully assembled and tested cars. “We’re actually working on the orders for České dráhy, but also on the production of electric units for Latvia or the assembly of trains for Estonia.”

The production plant in Martinov, Ostrava also underwent great extension with a total value exceeding CZK 70 million. Two new paint shops were built, one preparation room and one blasting box. New paint shop can paint three times more vehicles, than previous years. Moreover, new central warehouse was built, which will contribute to the development of overall logistics.
