Rail Transport Veteran Zbigniew Prus Appointed to PKP Cargo International Board

At the end of March, Zbigniew Prus was appointed a member of the Board of Directors of PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL a.s.

Zbigniew Prus is an experienced leader in the field of rail transport who currently serves within the PKP CARGO Group as a member of the Board of Directors for Operations of PKP CARGO SERVICE sp. z o.o. and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of AWT ROSCO a.s., a member of PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL.

He has 32 years of experience in the railway sector, especially in state-owned companies within PKP structures, and has held various positions there.

His professional challenges include key positions ranging from operations, such as traction engineer, to various managerial positions in the Operational Areas and Headquarters of PKP CARGO S.A. or PKP CARGO Group companies.

During his professional life, he has improved his qualifications and deepened his knowledge in the field of transport, taking various courses and obtaining a Master's degree in this field, gaining comprehensive knowledge, especially in the operation and maintenance of rolling stock. In addition, he broadened his horizons at the College of Business, where he obtained a Master of Business Administration degree.

He was instrumental in the creation and restructuring of PKP CARGO S.A. and in introducing modern, diversified operational programs that optimize and improve the entire transport process.
