Revenues from contracts with customers amounted to slightly more than PLN 1 billion 166 million in January - March, while in the same period of 2021, revenues amounted to PLN 996 million.
EBITDA closed the first quarter at PLN 152.4 million, an increase of PLN 48 million over the previous year's results.
EBIT also improved, which in the first three months of 2022 amounted to PLN -31.5 million. Whereas, in 2021, EBIT was lower, at the level of PLN -71 million. On the other hand, PKP CARGO Group's net result is PLN -47.6 million and is less than PLN 24 million higher than last year.

From January to March, PKP CARGO Group has also improved operational indicators. Our trains have carried 25.9 million tons of freight, over 2.5 million tons more than in the first quarter of 2021.
The presented financial results are preliminary estimates, and they may change as the consolidated report of the PKP CARGO Capital Group for the first quarter is still being prepared. It will be published on 27 May this year.
