PKP CARGO informs that it is implementing the tasks imposed by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki related to coal transport but has not received any funds from the state budget for this purpose, as there has been no need to launch these funds so far.

"As a listed company, PKP CARGO has a transparent information policy, and all financial information is included in current and periodic reports. The achieved financial results reflect the company's business activity," emphasizes Dariusz Seliga, CEO of PKP CARGO.

PKP CARGO Group's activities have been recently affected by a challenging macroeconomic environment. "The Company's Management Board and all the PKP CARGO employees have been doing their best to maintain good financial indicators in the context of the difficult market situation," said PKP CARGO CEO.

Currently, there is a lot of activity in the coal transport market. The company assures that it makes every effort to use its rolling stock effectively to transport coal and, if necessary, it will use wagons to transport aggregates. However, it is noted that this will not be at the expense of fulfilling the contracts signed with customers for the other goods' transport.

The latest financial and operational results after nine months of 2022 will be published on 24 November this year.
