Alstom, the largest manufacturer in the railway industry in Poland, has appointed Sławomir Cyza as President and CEO of Alstom in Poland, Ukraine, and the Baltic States. In his new role, Sławomir Cyza will be responsible for managing Alstom's operations in these countries and will play a vital role in the further integration of the company following its merger with Bombardier Transportation last year. The appointment supports the further sustainable growth of Alstom's business and manufacturing activities in this strategic region, where Poland is one of Alstom's most important markets in Europe.

"Sławomir has been associated with the Alstom Group and the rail industry for more than ten years and has been responsible for introducing several changes in the company's organizational structures that have proven to be effective and successful. ''I am confident that his extensive experience in operational management, strategic planning, and employee focus, together with his unique skills and personal qualities, will enable him to develop further our business and manufacturing activities in Poland, Ukraine, and the Baltic States, which are priority markets for Alstom," said Antonio Moreno, Alstom's Managing Director for Central and Eastern Europe.

Sławomir Cyza joined Alstom 10 years ago as HR Director in Poland and at the Alstom Konstal plant in Chorzów, and later as HR Director for Central and Eastern Europe, where he built the Alstom organization in 17 countries. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of several Alstom legal entities. Over the years, Sławomir Cyza has managed many vital projects involving large-scale organizational changes in Poland and other CEE countries.

"I am proud to be part of Alstom - a company that is the largest manufacturer in the railway sector in Poland and a key player in the global mobility market. We have many exciting projects in Poland, Ukraine, and the Baltic States. We will constantly strive for innovation, especially in hydrogen solutions, high-speed railways, and traffic management systems. I am convinced that with our experienced team of professionals, global know-how, and Alstom's comprehensive offering, we will successfully seize the opportunities in each market." said Sławomir Cyza, Alstom's new President and CEO in Poland, Ukraine, and the Baltic States.
