By the preconditions for achieving the goals of the Accelerate 2025 Strategy, a large number of new staff will join Nelt's team this spring, including Marko Cilić, the new Chief Financial Officer of the Nelt Group.
Marko began his career in finance at Procter & Gamble, through various roles in corporate and commercial finance, including the position of Financial Manager for the Western Balkans. He continues his career at Novartis, through several posts of growing responsibility for markets (Serbia, Slovakia, Romania), the wider region, CEE, and Europe at the corporation's headquarters in Switzerland. He graduated in Management from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade.
The decision to come to Nelt for him, he says, was natural.
"I have had a great collaboration with Nelt since Procter & Gamble employed me, and the arrival has the additional symbolism of returning home. I feel great responsibility and gratitude for this opportunity. I am joining a successful and major system where I will do my best to use my knowledge and experience to help continue the organization and business development," says Marko.
He points out that changing the company will be a great challenge and opportunity for personal development, and the challenge is even greater when you consider his simultaneous move to another country.
"In my case, it is a return to the homeland from Switzerland and the headquarters of Novartis, to which I am very grateful for the opportunities for international development through the various roles I have performed," explains Marko.
He says that his first days at Nelt are extremely exciting, from meeting colleagues from the entire organization to attending the presentation of Strategy #Accelerate2025.
"The welcome is truly amazing, meeting people and processes in the company is thoroughly planned, while good prospects for the future give additional positive impetus. I am impressed by the atmosphere, warmth, energy, and support of the people who are united with expertise and professionalism. All this is a firm platform for continuing the successful path, and I am sure that we will be able to share a lot of good news in the future as well," says Marko.
