A graduate of ESSEC (École supérieure des sciences économiques et commerciales) and holder of a DESS (post-graduate diploma) in International Business from the University of Paris-Dauphine, she joined the SNCF in 1992 in the rail freight business.
She held several positions in the Ile-de-France and Picardie regions, managing commercial agencies in the steel, coal, and scrap metal markets. She was particularly involved in improving the quality of transport with the client Usinor (now ArcelorMittal).
In 2002, she was appointed director of the Ile-de-France operational teams at the Gare du Nord station and accompanied the transformations linked to the major works in the suburban area.
In 2005, she became the first woman to head the Alpes Maritimes regional office in charge of train traffic and commercial services for passengers. She is responsible for promoting the SNCF's issues to the economic and institutional players in the department, as well as in the Principality of Monaco.

In 2010 she was appointed General Manager of the joint venture "SNCF-DB en coopération" in Germany, in charge of the high-speed lines between France and Germany. She contributes to the development of the railway market share and to the renewal of the cooperation agreement for 5 years. At the same time, she was a foreign trade advisor for France.
In 2015, she took over the management of railway stations in the Grand-Est region, in charge of the operation and marketing of stations as well as development projects in partnership with local authorities and the State.
Béatrice Leloup likes challenges, commercial relations at the service of the customer, and the quality of the proposed offer. She places the values of proximity, optimism, and determination at the heart of her action.
She was named a Knight in the National Order of Merit in 2019.
