Lithuanian Railways (LTG) has signed cooperation agreements with several technical universities and colleges to deepen collaboration with scientific institutions and promote a more active dialogue with the scientific community to deepen the knowledge of specialists studying there.
The cooperation agreements involve Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH), Kaunas University of Technology, Kaunas Technical College, Vilnius College of Technologies and Design and VGTU Engineering Lyceum, with which LTG will partner in the development and implementation of research projects for modern business needs, prospects of the railway industry and the latest technologies used. According to Lithuanian Railways, the company's specialists will share their experience and knowledge in railway transport engineering and technology, and students and pupils will be introduced to the prospects of engineering and railway engineering, business and scientific innovation.
