The Extraordinary General Meeting of PKP Intercity S.A. appointed Hanna Jażdżyk to its Management Board.
Jażdżyk will be responsible for overseeing infrastructure investments and their maintenance, as well as managing the Procurement Office. She joins President Janusz Malinowski, Vice President Dagmara Zawadzka, and board members Marcin Karasiński and Adam Wawrzyniak in leading the company.
Hanna Jażdżyk brings extensive experience and academic credentials to her new role. A graduate of the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw, Jażdżyk specialized in banking, insurance, and public finance. She further developed her expertise through doctoral studies at the Warsaw School of Economics and obtained an MBA from the University of Finance and Management in Warsaw. Her career includes significant managerial roles in public companies within the construction, logistics, and railway transport sectors, as well as leading entities affiliated with local government units.
PKP Intercity S.A. has an ambitious strategy to invest PLN 2.6 billion by 2030 to expand and modernize its technical facilities. This investment will result in the development of 20 modern service stations and railway sidings, as well as 32 points for train preparation in terms of cleanliness. These upgrades aim to standardize facilities across three categories, ensuring they meet the appropriate standards based on the rolling stock needs in each location. According to the company, these improvements will enhance the standard of rolling stock service and optimize train preparation for routes.
